Account Manager

We are seeking an Account Manager to add to our Los Angeles team. The Account Manager will be working on business development initiatives, in efforts to generate new and increased business opportunities with top litigation firms all over the country, many of whom are existing clients. You will be working on the client-facing side of our business, conducting targeted outreach, and managing relationships with senior litigation attorneys.

Responsibilities:

The Account Manager will be working closely with our Marketing and Research Teams to further develop and maintain relationships with existing attorney clients. You will develop knowledge in the legal field to successfully articulate how our services can be positioned to add value to each respective law firm and act as the main point of contact for our clients during their engagements. In-person meetings are encouraged and Account Managers are expected to develop lasting relationships with clients – gain introductions to their colleagues – and become integral to the success of each respective firm.

Account Management:

  • Work closely with our Research team to manage client projects
  • Map organization charts of existing clients to identify business needs, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing attorney clients
  • Use data driven metrics to track growth of accounts and devise tactics to increase client usage and retention
  • Manage and maintain a book of business; oversight of all client agreements, subscriptions, and renewals

Our sales and marketing teams benefit from the most sophisticated Salesforce CRM, Pardot and content marketing platforms available – all of which generate highly targeted sales campaigns and in-bound leads for Account Managers to monetize. All of the aforementioned functions result in a large volume of very warm targets and prospects. As a data-driven technology firm, we work hard to support our Account Management team – so each member can be highly successful.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of prior sales/client relationship management experience, preferably within the legal services industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with peers, management and across departments
  • Demonstrates strong judgement and resolves issues appropriately and independently
  • Experience nurturing and growing a book of business
  • Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Continuous self-learner and competitive nature; able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work with a high caliber team in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience not required, but is a plus

Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any major
Travel: 10 - 25% domestically
