Medical Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a position on our Research Team as a Medical Research Associate to help lead the expansion of our Research team on the West Coast. This is a truly unique opportunity to interact with the nation’s top practitioners in healthcare and law on a daily basis. You will be responsible for conducting research in various disciplines to pair high-level attorneys with the most qualified expert witnesses on a case-by-case basis.  

Responsibilities:

Medical Research Associates act as Medical Consultants to our attorney clients and assist them in identifying the most qualified candidates for their unique expert witness engagement needs, which will vary case by case. You will spend much of your time interacting with medical subject matter experts - primarily physicians - via email and conference calls to vet and screen the perfect candidate for each engagement. No two projects are ever the same and as a result, our Medical Research Associates must be insightful, motivated and eager to pair our clients with a perfect expert witness for all projects. This requires careful consideration of hundreds of factors from location, to qualifications, to personality traits that may lend well to a specific litigation matter. You will also be tasked with interviewing, hiring and helping to build a team of dedicated members to join our Los Angeles office.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of clinical work experience
  • Tireless work ethic
  • Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to create and develop relationships with clients and subject matter experts
  • Continuous self-learner and competitive nature; able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work with a high caliber team of driven, intelligent colleagues
  • Computer literacy; proficiency in MS Office; comfortable using cloud-based solutions to manage day-to-day business (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Ability to learn complex material and multitask
  • Positive attitude is a must
  • Working knowledge of medicine MD or RN preferred but not required 

Job: Medical Research

Salary: Competitive base salary + bonus

Schedule: Full-time; Days; M - F

Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, RN's or MD's (preferred)

Travel: <10%; domestically
