Business Development Coordinator

Responsibilities:

The Expert Institute is seeking an full-time, entry-level Business Development Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is looking to begin a career in Sales. The Business Development Coordinator will act as a liaison between Business Development and our attorney clients and will have a wide range of responsibilities.  In addition to scheduling meetings and organizing resources for your team, you will begin developing sales skills – including qualifying sales leads, developing your own pitches, and articulating how the company’s services can add value to each respective law firm. This role is both administrative and client facing.

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will:

  • Qualify and follow up with a high volume of warm leads
  • Draft proposals and reports
  • Secure and schedule meeting for the Business Development team
  • Reach out to high-level professionals through targeted emails and cold calling
  • Maintain and update client profiles in our database
  • Work closely within the Business Development team and across departments to facilitate a seamless customer experience
  • Articulate the value proposition of our service models to existing and prospective attorney clients

The Business Development Coordinator will benefit from significant online marketing efforts which include cutting edge email campaigns, paid search and retargeting, and meaningful brand recognition in the legal services industry. Training and mentorship from senior members of the team will help grow this individual to a position where he or she can begin developing their own book of business.

Qualifications:

A successful Business Development Coordinator will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and internship experience
  • Take pride in their ability to organize and maintain schedules
  • Be comfortable cold calling high-level professionals
  • Exceptional teamwork, collaboration and communication skills
  • A competitive spirit and desire to pursue a career in Sales
  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Schedule: Full-time; Days; M - F
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
Travel: 0-5% domestically
